Special 26 Box Office Prediction Tarot Card #movieTarot
Special 26 - Tarot Card

Special 26 promises to be a real treat to watch. The critics & the film fraternity have unanimously dubbed the film as a 'must watch'. But here @movieTarot we don't believe in critic ratings and reviews. True happiness is beyond the 'star ratings'. Neeraj Pandey's debut film, A Wednesday was a real thriller and we expect to see the same thrills in Special 26 also. Add Akshay Kumar's charisma to the mix and there's real promise.

Expectation
Akshay Kumar's Special Chabbis has finally gained some momentum coming into release weekend. The promotion campaigns have worked and the buzz has now evenly spread across the country. Special 26 was way below ABCD : Any Body Can Dance in the previous week regarding the reach that the films had. But it has covered quite a lot of ground and has surpassed ABCD in the reach. For a film with a high happiness factor, its pivotal that a decent number of people come and watch it, for the word of mouth to work its magic.

Special Chabbis - Happiness Card

TrueHappiness
The happiness factor for Special 26 is the highest that we've seen among all releases for 2013. Its spectacular to say the least. The Happiness factor is at 91% meaning, a very high percentage of people would return home from the cinemas, feeling good.

Release Timing
Special Chabbis wont be affected much by ABCD: Any Body Can Dance. Akshay's flick will be somewhat immune from ABCD's dance magic. The real threats (if at all any) would come from Murder 3 and Kai Po Che. Both the films are abuzz with lots of chatter surrounding them and look good to rake in the moolah at the box office. The success of these 2 films will determine the longevity of Special 26's run at the box office. It it manages to stay clear of them, then the route is clear till Ajay Devgn & Tamanna's Himmatwala releasing on March 29.

Prediction
At the current buzz (limited), the film should rake in around Rs. 23 Crores in the opening weekend. The collections would continue to be steady going into the opening week with expected box office collections reaching 40+ Crores by the end of the week. Life-time gross would greatly depend on how well Kai Po Che & Murder 2 does at the Box Office. At this stage, Special 26 looks good to collect and approximate Rs.70 Crores at the domestic box office.
