Kai Po Che comes from the makers of the 'cult classic' Rang De Basanti & the writer-director of Rock On!, Abhishek Kapoor. The film's based on the best selling book, Three Mistakes of My Life by Chetan Bhagat. Kai Po Che has been creating mild waves ever since its trailer launched back in December with Dabangg 2. There's almost a sense of 'something BIG' going to happen that surrounds the film.
Manja from Kai Po Che is composed by by Amit Trivedi. Got to hand it to him, the music/lyrics is simply beautiful. The music is so refreshing that it urges you to break free and fly high like a 'manja' (kite).
The happiness factor of Manja is spectacular and is at 98%. The song is yet to catch on though. A lot of people've not yet heard it. I guess thats what happens to a 'low profile' film without the 'BIG stars'. We wish more people would check the tracks from Kai Po Che out. The music is simply brilliant.
