Race 2 is the action flick that bollywood needed very badly! With Akshay Kumar off colour in his 'Khiladi' avatar, some desi dose of action & entertainment is the need of the hour. Abbas-Mustan are back with the Race franchise, and it promises to be quite a 'thriller'. The soundtrack of the film has moved audiences all over with some foot-tapping numbers. Race 2 is all set to become HIT at the box office.

People are looking forward to the film in almost every state of the country. The buzz is tremendous and will definitely transcend into opening weekend collections. Disney UTV has managed to get more than 2500 screens for the film, which will further aid the cause.

With no 'potential' releases in the weeks after, the film should do really well. Race 2's only concern is Kamal Hassan's Vishwaroopam, which is set to release worldwide on 25th January. This could hamper collections down south (Tamil Nadu, Karnataka).
