AkaashVani is one of those 'sleeper-hits' in the making. The film, a take on love comes from the same crew of the cult classic 'Pyar Ka Punchnama' which was a surprise hit back in 2011. Directed by Luv Ranjan, the film's music is very pleasing. The trailers and videos of the film have been well received by the audience, but the chatter over the film is very limited.
Most of the people talking about AkaashVani is from Delhi, Pune & Mumbai. With chatter concentrated in just two states, its always hard to rake in the moolah on the releasing weekend; especially when a star-studded Race 2 is releasing simultaneously.

AkaashVani has a staggering .43 on the index, meaning almost 92% of the people watching the film would end up liking it. To further put .43 in perspective, Race 2 has only .3 on the index. People'll definitely like this film, so it all depends on how long it can hold on at the box office. Its collections will mainly be channeled from the 'word-of-mouth' promotion that the film will get. Initial weekend wont see much money being made, but it could well go on in the subsequent weeks.
